Forsyth of the Hongkong Volunteer Corps, Mr. Andrews of Messrs. George Fenwick and Company, Mr. Course of the Electric Tramways Company, and Mr. Hogarth, Chief Excise Officer to the Opium Farmer.

Wong Yau, a Sham Shui Po fishmonger, is reported to have assisted in saving the crew of a water-boat at great personal risk to himself and Te Pal Mui, a Chinese married woman of Aberdeen, to have worked hard and courageously throughout the storm in rescuing people while men at the same...
